Energy Generation or “enGen”, which until March 2005 was named StateWest Power, was established in 1978 and specialises in design and construction, and operation and maintenance of remote power stations that supply resource operations and regional communities.  enGen’s business model employs largely technical design and construction, and operations and maintenance people in a dedicated office workshop environment.  This model aims to ensure the reliability and quality of supply, and the on-time delivery of projects.  As part of Wesfarmers Energy, enGen has efficient access to capital and corporate resources, as well as competitively priced fuels including natural gas, diesel, LNG and LPG.
